During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, with no announcement of anything beforehand, a promo aired that showed old clips of Big Cass in WWE. He was standing in darkness, looking on at what he once did, with a voiceover that had just two lines.
“What happens when the whole world calls you ‘can’t miss?‘
“What happens when the whole world is wrong?”
It ended with a date, Aug. 3, which would be first episode of Monday Night Raw following SummerSlam.
There have been rumors and reports for some time now that Big Cass & Enzo Amore would be reuniting in WWE after the former’s contract with AEW came up and the latter rehabbed his image enough to bring him back into the fold. They were a hugely popular act during their time under the WWE umbrella, one of the most popular tag teams of the modern era.
It all fell apart largely due to issues outside the ring. Both have worked hard to make it back, and now it seems that is indeed the case.
What’s notable is the teaser didn’t mention Amore, but that could be coming later.
