Police say a 23-year-old woman’s suspicious death in southeast Edmonton is being investigated as a homicide.
The Edmonton Police Service says officers were called about an unresponsive woman with suspicious injuries at a home in the Silverberry neighbourhood on Thursday evening.
A man was taken into custody soon after. Edmonton police say they are not currently seeking any other suspects.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she died three days later. An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
The EPS homicide section is investigating.
