Darline Graham Nordone, the sister of the late senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), was sworn in to succeed him on Tuesday, filling the vacancy created by Graham’s unexpected death on Saturday.
South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) on Monday appointed Graham Nordone to serve the final six months of her brother’s term. President Donald Trump had also endorsed the idea.
