1. Ryan Papenhuyzen: Missed an early tackle on Deine Mariner to concede the opening try but soon started making amends once Melbourne got their hands on the ball. Threw the final pass for the Storm’s first try. 6/10

2. Will Warbrick: Powered his way through three defenders to score the Storm’s third try. 7

3. Jack Howarth: Missed an early tackle on Walsh before he was replaced by Tyran Wishart midway through the first half, having suffered a groin injury. 4

4. Nick Meaney: Cut through in the eighth minute to score Melbourne’s opening try, beating three defenders. Kicked three goals from four attempts. 6
