BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -Brazos County 4-H will host its 55th Annual 4-H Cake Show & Auction on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at the Brazos Center in Bryan.
The event will feature homemade cakes, pies, and bite-sized desserts prepared by local 4-H members and their families.
Entries will be judged before being auctioned to raise funds supporting Brazos County 4-H youth throughout the year.
The community is invited to attend, with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and the dessert auction at 7 p.m.
Supporters can participate by attending in person, bidding on desserts, or preregistering as a buyer if they are unable to attend. Those who can’t be present may also bid through a proxy bidder.
Funds raised support leadership development, educational workshops, camps, scholarships, judging contests, and state and national travel opportunities.
Aubrey Smith, a long-time member of the program, said 4-H has helped prepare her for the future. “They’ve provided opportunities for me to learn responsibility, time management, [and] what true selfless service looks like,” Smith said.
Organizers say every purchase helps invest in the next generation of local leaders.
