UPDATE (12:56 PM): The Guadalupe River has reached a flow rate of 1,000 cubic feet per second. In accordance with City ordinance, tubing and entering the river within the New Braunfels city limits are prohibited until river levels decrease.
Cypress Bend Park is closed
The Gruene Road Bridge is being closed due to issues related to the ongoing construction project. The river level has not exceeded the bridge.
TRASH AND RECYCLING PICK UP
Trash and recycling collection is continuing at this time. However, crews are working around road closures, and some homes may not be serviced today. If your trash or recycling has not been collected by 6 p.m. today, please report the missed pickup at newbraunfels.gov/garbagerequest

CITY FACILITIES
– The Comal River is closed for all recreational activities
– Landa Park Golf Course is closed
– Landa Park Aquatic Complex is closed
– The City Recycle Center is closed
– Athletic fields are closed
