Rangers boss Russell Martin is under huge pressure but he could answer a few of his critics at Falkirk.
The Gers left it until the 94th minute to grab their first league win of the season at Livingston last week, but they should have been out of sight as James Tavernier missed a penalty, Derek Austin Cornelius had a goal ruled out and Bojan Miovski also spurned a glorious opportunity.
Thursday’s 2-1 defeat at Sturm Graz in the Europa League was a disappointment but there is a sense that the Light Blues are finally starting to get to grips with Martin’s style.
Falkirk usually save their best for their own patch and they won’t be pushovers. However, Rangers still have a much better chance of collecting three points than odds of 3-4 suggest.
