Following a fire next to the tracks on Friday, some railway signalling and equipment were so badly damaged that only a reduced number of Greater Anglia trains are running via Stratford.
Affected routes include services to and from London Liverpool Street and Colchester Town, Southend Victoria, Stratford and Bishops Stortford, as well as Meridian Water.

As well as some services being cancelled or ‘altered,’ certain platforms at Stratford also remain closed off which is causing further disruptions.
Network Rail engineers are working as quickly as possible to repair the damaged infrastructure and restore the signalling equipment back to normal.
Service cancellations and alterations are expected until further notice.

Looking at specific disruptions on Wednesday, July 15, trains between Stratford and Tottenham Hale will now start and stop at Lea Bridge.
This means passengers won’t be able to use the train between Lea Bridge and Stratford and will need to make alternative arrangements.
Those travelling between the two stations can use London Buses.
Besides these routes, certain services to and from Ipswich, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester Town, Braintree and Southend Victoria will run less frequently.
If you are travelling between Tottenham Hale and Stratford, you should: Travel on the first available train to Liverpool Street. Change at Liverpool Street for trains to Stratford / Tottenham Hale.
Those who plan to travel to or from Liverpool Street via Shenfield and Stratford should: Check before you travel as some services may be cancelled or altered at short notice.
