Looks like F1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian are taking things to the next level … in the form of a joint family summer vacation. One month after making her grand Paddock debut as a WAG, it seems the 45-year-old decided she’s ready to introduce her new boyfriend to the kids, as evidenced by a carousel of photos Hamilton posted to Instagram Thursday and Kardashian’s post earlier in the week.
“Summers on the lake with my favorite people,” was Kardashian’s caption on her carousel, which featured her hugging Hamilton and one of her daughters under the tree-filled evening sky. The growing brood apparently Jet-Skied, hiked, golf-carted, biked (motocross-style), and pushed each other into the water. Hamilton was photographed with Kardashian’s 7-year-old son, Psalm, and 8-year-old daughter, Chicago. The driver also featured photos of his niece Willow and nephew Kaiden. Seems like one big happy modern family to me.
Sadly, the family-vacation nostalgia was punctured by a somber update: Hours after Hamilton uploaded his post, Kris Jenner announced that her mother, MJ Shannon, had passed away at the age of 91. “Hold your people close,” Hamilton wrote in his caption, seemingly nodding to the family’s loss. Kardashian, meanwhile, posted her own tribute to her grandmother: “My sweet Grandma MJ, my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin,” she wrote. “You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we’ll carry with us forever!!!!!”
