Supporter Information | Arbroath (H)

We wanted to remind supporters that, for our upcoming Premier Sports Cup match against Arbroath, Dundee United has been granted a licence by Dundee City Council permitting the sale of alcohol within the lower tier of the George Fox Stand ahead of kick-off.

Key Information

• Access to this trial event is restricted to home supporters with match tickets in the George Fox Stand, and will be fully managed in line with all licensing regulations.

• Alcohol will be available pre-match only and exclusively within the concourse of the lower tier of the George Fox stand for this trial.

• Turnstiles will open at the earlier time of 5pm, with alcohol served until 6.30pm.

• Supporters wishing to purchase alcohol will be asked to show proof of age along with their match ticket on arrival.

• Drinks must be consumed within designated areas and not in sight of the pitch.

• Additional security and stewarding will be in place to support a smooth and safe operation, with club staff also on hand to gather supporter feedback.

• Supporters will have the opportunity to provide feedback as part of the pilot, and will be encouraged to do so on the day.

This initiative forms part of wider work across Scottish football to understand how a carefully managed approach to alcohol sales may enhance the matchday experience. Our usual matchday operations and safety standards remain unchanged.

Tickets for the match remain available online, in person from the club ticket office, and over the phone by calling 01382 833166 (option 1).
