Tracy-Ann Oberman is set to star in a new production of Present Laughter at a Dorset venue later this year.
Known for her roles in EastEnders, Doctor Who, and Friday Night Dinner, Oberman will play Geri Essendine in the acclaimed Noël Coward play, which will be performed at Lighthouse Poole from Tuesday, October 13, to Saturday, October 17.
Directed by Lindsay Posner, the story follows Geri, a successful actress known for her wit and charm.
She faces challenges as she prepares for an African tour, dealing with admirers, her secretary, estranged husband, and a young playwright.

Among the upcoming highlights set to come to the Dorset venue is Sir Derek Jacobi in conversation with Richard Clifford on Wednesday, October 28.
Lighthouse Poole has a packed schedule for autumn, featuring productions such as Oh Zeus (September 25 and 26), Heathers the Musical (September 29 to October 3), and Little Shop of Horrors (October 20 to October 24).
The schedule also includes the children’s show Horrible Histories (November 5 to 8), and the iconic The Mousetrap (November 23 to 28).
This year’s performances at the venue have included The Shawshank Redemption, The Woman In Black, and The Talented Mr Ripley.
