A ‘serious incident’ at the Penrith horse trials has led to the event being cancelled.
British Eventing Official have written on social media saying “Due to a serious incident that took place this afternoon, all competition at Penrith on 18 and 19 July has been abandoned.”
The competition was due to take place this weekend at Frenchfield Farm in Penrith, and is run by the Northern Counties Horse Trials (NCHT).
