Minneapolis police are investigating a Sunday night shooting that killed one person and injured four others in the Stevens Square neighborhood, marking the 2nd mass shooting in the city over the weekend.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded around 8:20 p.m. after gunfire erupted outside a business near the 1800 block of Nicollet Avenue.
Police say that four people were taken to the hospital and one man later walked into Hennepin Healthcare with a gunshot wound from the incident.
One of the victims, a 28-year-old man, later died from his injuries.
A 24-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and the other three victims are expected to survive, according to police.
No arrests have been made and investigators say they are working to figure out what led up to the shooting.
The Stevens Square shooting marks the 2nd in Minneapolis in less than 24 hours.
