CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for a small section of West Virginia.
The warning affects northeastern Calhoun, southeastern Ritchie and northwestern Gilmer County and will be in effect until 2 p.m.
The NWS observed a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado about 9 miles north of Grantsville.
Forecasters said the system was moving east and may bring hail and high wind.
