CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A strong cold front brought through strong thunderstorms earlier this morning and into the afternoon.
Because of this, multiple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued for parts of the 19 viewing area.
As we head down the line, though, things will begin to improve, as the front is through (for the most part).
Drier and more stable air will begin to slide through for the remainder of the afternoon.
Even some sunshine could be expected by the time we reach the evening commute!
Temps will remain steady into the 80s.
Northerly winds will continue into the night tonight, driving temps back into the upper 50s and lower 60s for much of the area.
Cloudiness and fogginess will be expected over the area as well.
The clouds will remain in place for much of the day tomorrow, though I am expecting the region to remain dry.
With clouds and northerly winds in place, expect only 60s for highs.
High pressure ushers in sunshine for the remainder of the week, with initial northerly winds for Thursday keeping temps into the mid 70s.
Upper 70s and lower 80s will return for Friday and the weekend, as flow becomes southerly.
Watch for a slight increase in humidity as well.
A warm front working through Sunday night into Monday morning will drive an isolated storm chance that should clear the area by the time we reach the morning hours of Monday.
Temps will return into the middle and upper 80s behind this front.
