The Red Sox lost Tuesday — to Mother Nature.
Their game at Fenway Park against the Orioles was rained out, pausing for a day their historic winning streak at 14 games.
The teams will play a split-admission doubleheader Wednesday. The makeup will be at 1:35 p.m.; the series finale will stay at 7:10 as scheduled.
The Sox are one away from tying the franchise-record 15-game winning streak in 1946.
