ULSTER COUNTY, NY (WRGB) New York State Police are investigating a passenger bus rollover on the New York State Thruway southbound between Exit 18 and Exit 17.
Approximately 23 passengers were on the bus.
Of the passengers, 17 were not injured, the rest were treated at the scene or transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Fire crews, EMS and Thruway Traffic Safety also responded to the scene. The left lane southbound and the left lane northbound were blocked.
The bus is a Wanda Coach bus, according to the website, provides trips to NYS from multiple cities across the country.
State Police say delays are extending to miles in the opposite directions and to avoid the area.
The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to be released as they become available.
