‘Star Wars: Twin Crossroads’ Book and ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ Manga Vol. 3 To Be Announced At SDCC
Star Wars publishing will be present through three panels at San Diego Comic-Con next Friday, July 24. The biggest will be one on comics from Mad Cave and Lucasfilm Publishing (12:00 PM PDT), and another on Star Wars Books from Random House Worlds (1:00 PM PDT).
With one more week to go, the first details from the presentations may have leaked online. As spotted by eagle-eyed Reddit users, Random House Worlds has added a new entry to their Star Wars collection in the form of an upcoming book titled Star Wars: Twin Crossroads. We don’t have any more details about the story it will cover, nor the author, but we do know it is due for release on April 6, 2027, just a two days after Celebration wraps in Los Angeles.
Michael Siglain, head of publishing for Lucasfilm, said on social media that the posting was not accidental and instead is “part of the plan”. While that may appear to be some saving face on their part, this is certainly not the first time it happens. A few weeks before Star Wars Celebration 2025, Random House added a listing for Master of Evil, the novel that came out last fall from Adam Christopher. Then, a week before NYCC, we learned about a new book called Star Wars: Legacy, which is now coming out. From this, it looks like Twin Crossroads may be one of the big book releases of the next 12 months.
Additionally, we have also learned that Volume 3 of the manga adaptation of Jedi: Fallen Order will be released on December 1, after Vol. 2 came out in May. The cover is also available at the link. More details may be revealed during the first of the two panels described above.

Last year, we also got our surprise first shot of Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka Season 2 from the convention floor, and a few years earlier we got the official confirmation of Amandla Stenberg being cast in The Acolyte. So it’s possible Lucasfilm may be hiding some surprises even if there are no major panels related to them.
