ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — President Donald Trump will be in metro Atlanta on Wednesday.
Why is Trump coming to Georgia?
Trump will be at Wheeler High School in Marietta. The president will be at the school to highlight the administration’s recently announced Trump Accounts investment program for children.

Trump will also use the visit for political means as well.
He is expected to be joined by Rick Jackson, the Republican gubernatorial nominee. Rep. Mike Collins, who is the GOP’s nominee to face Sen. Jon Ossoff in the fall, posted on social media that he would not be joining Trump at the event.
Trump will very likely encourage voters to turn out for them in the midterms.

When will Trump be in Georgia?
Trump is expected to land at Dobbins Air Reserve Base around 1 p.m. on Air Force One.
He will then depart for Wheeler High School.
He is expected to give remarks around 3 p.m.
What will traffic be like in the area?
There are three different routes Trump could take on the short jaunt to high school.
Whichever route he takes will be shut down, which is customary when a president visits an area.
