The countdown to Truck Festival always carries a little extra excitement. Maybe it’s the promise of returning to familiar fields, maybe it’s the thrill of finding the next band you’ll fall in love with, or maybe it’s simply knowing that another weekend of music and chaos is nearly here. With the gates about to swing open once again, here’s what you need to know before heading to Hil Farm.
From Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th July, Hill Farm once again welcomes some of the most exciting names in music as Truck Festival returns with one of its most complete line-ups yet. Blending festival favourites with the artists everyone will be talking about by the end of the summer, it’s another weekend built on huge moments, surprise discoveries and the kind of atmosphere that keeps people coming back year after year.
Following their long-awaited return last summer, The Maccabees are set to make their Truck Stage debut with a hugely anticipated Friday night headline set. Saturday sees festival regulars Two Door Cinema Club return to top the bill and Sunday weclomes The Libertines step up for a special guest appearance, handing the reins over to The Wombats to close out yet another unforgettable Truck weekend.
We can’t wait to be back as So Young once again takes over the Market Stage with a bill packed full of artists you won’t want to miss. Making their Truck debut fresh from the release of their debut EP, the north are sure to win over plenty of new fans, while Bleech 9:3 arrive armed with the kind of towering, arena-sized hooks that were made for festival fields. Add Radio Free Alice into the mix, whose urgent indie anthems are guaranteed to have the Market Stage crowd in full voice, and you’ve got yet another reminder that some of the weekend’s biggest moments won’t necessarily be found on the main stage.
Friday’s Market Stage headliner is just as unmissable, with English Teacher returning to close the Market Stage after a remarkable couple of years that have seen them cement themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting bands. Elsewhere, Adult DVD’s infectious grooves promise one of the weekend’s biggest parties, Brooki continue their rapid ascent with a set that’s not to be missed, while the elegant Theatre are sure to leave a lasting impression with their distinctive take on art-rock.
Tucked away in the corner of the site, The Nest is where things get a little louder, a little stranger and a whole lot more exciting. This year is no different, with genre-defying Madra Salach bringing their thrilling fusion of traditional Irish folk and jagged post-punk to the tent, while our Issue Fifty-Eight cover stars Westside Cowboy take over on Sunday with a set that’s sure to be one of the weekend’s standout moments. Friday sees the DIY math-rock punk chaos of SLAG take centre stage, before Silver Gore fill the tent on Saturday with their dark, atmospheric soundscapes.
While the Truck Stage will once again bring its own unique brand of chaos with the return of festival staple Mr Motivator and the wildly fun wake-up call from the Oxford Symphony Orchestra, the Main Stage is set to deliver an eclectic mix of favourites and future favourites across the weekend
Cambridge shoegazers Lemondaze will bring their dreamy sound to the Oxfordshire fields, while Divorce’s country-tinged indie feels made for a sunny afternoon in the fields. Indie icons The Cribs arrive with a back catalogue packed with fan favourites, ready to deliver one of the weekend’s biggest singalongs.
Saturday sees The Vaccines return to Hill Farm for a special celebration of 15 years since their debut album, while rising Wicklow band Florence Road bring their infectious indie sound to the stage earlier in the day, continuing to prove why they’re a name so many are already championing.
Whether you’re chasing the biggest moments on the Main Stage, searching out the next wave of talent, or just embracing the beautiful unpredictability of festival life, Truck Festival 2026 is ready to deliver another weekend of noise, discovery and togetherness. As the fields of Hill Farm fill once again, the festival continues to be the perfect blend of huge moments and hidden gems, a gloriously chaotic village fête unlike anywhere else.
