Barrow’s Liam Livingstone was named the Vitality T20 Blast Player of the Tournament for 2026 after the competition came to an end last weekend.
Livingstone, 32, picked up the award despite his Lancashire Lightning side failing to make it out of their group.

The award marks something of a renaissance in Livingstone’s form with both bat and ball after some recent difficulties in franchise cricket.
The Barrovian finished the tournament with more than 450 runs at a strike rate of just over 164 from the 10 innings he played.
The Lancs-man ended the campaign with an average of 50 and struck 26 fours and 35 sixes.
With ball in hand, Livingstone took 12 wickets at an economy rate of 7.75.
His tournament-best bowling figures were 3-13 – and he averaged 23.25.

The Red Roses finished third in the North Group of the T20 Blast, missing out on a place in the quarter-finals.
Hampshire, Essex, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Surrey reached the last eight of the Blast this year.
Northants, Somerset, Hampshire, and Notts reached the coveted Finals Day at Edgbaston, which took place on Saturday, July 18.
It was Darren Lehman’s Northants who clinched the title this year, beating Hampshire by 14 runs in the tournament’s final.

Livingstone enjoyed a number of big scores in this year’s Blast tournament, including 80 against Glamorgan, 85 not out vs Durham, and 60 in the Roses clash at Old Trafford, Manchester, against Yorkshire.
The Barrovian is now set to captain London Spirit in this year’s Hundred, after moving from his former franchise Birmingham Phoenix, who he skippered last summer.
London Spirit are set to kick off their tournament on Thursday (July 23) at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Speaking after being announced as captain in June, Livingstone said: “I am really looking forward to leading London Spirit out at Lord’s this summer.
“It’s an iconic ground and with the largest crowds in the country, I know the fans will create a special atmosphere for every match.
“There is so much talent throughout the squad, and I want us to make some history this summer. I can’t wait to get started.”
