It’s not every day you get two former Exclaim! cover stars sharing a bill together, but I’ve seen stranger things.
While that joke wasn’t good, what we can guarantee will be good are the six can’t-miss concerts coming to Toronto this week, including the aforementioned Tame Impala (pictured above) and Djo, Finn Wolfhard, Aussie rockers and more.

Babe Rainbow

A coin (or several of them) from the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow will grant you admission to Australian psych rockers Babe Rainbow’s headlining show at Lee’s. Just don’t confuse them with the Canadian electronic producer of the same name!
Pond with Ace of Wands

If you can’t get enough of Australian psychedelic rock, Pond are also crossing more than just a pond as they tour in support of this year’s Terrestrials this summer.

Toronto’s Simone Schmidt will be joined by the Fiver Tois for a special, intimate hometown show to play songs from the recently released Cleaning House.
Finn Wolfhard with Sleeper’s Bell

After wrapping up his main gig with Netflix this past winter, Finn Wolfhard returned with his second solo album Fire from the Hip earlier this month, and Toronto fans will be among the first of Canadians to catch the new material live.
Tame Impala with Djo

Kevin Parker may just be one guy, but he’s enlisted another former Exclaim! cover star cover star (and Stranger Things alum), Joe Keery, for support for his headlining show. Scotiabank Arena has never felt Exclaim!-ier!
Loveless Festival

Familiar favourites Bonnie Trash, Basement Revolver, Velvet Beach, sundayclub and more will be taking over the stages at the Monarch Tavern, Sneaky Dee’s and St. Stephen-in-the-Fields for a weekend of live music that glances close to the ground, courtesy of local arts and music organization Loveless Collective.
