Woodland fire thought to have been set deliberately

Fire crews who tackled a woodland blaze in Essex believe it was started deliberately.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service was called to Heybridge Wood, external in Maldon at about 19:15 BST on Monday. The blaze was out by 20:10.
The fire service said it had been called to the scene “a number of times previously”.
It added that the weather meant the woodland was “extremely vulnerable” to fire.
The service has urged anyone with information on who started the fire to pass it on.
