As a wife of NFL running back Antonio Gibson, Victoria Gibson says that people assume she leads a glamorous life. But a recent story she shared from her car certainly shattered that assumption.
“I pooped on myself in Costco — 39 weeks pregnant,” an emotional Victoria said in a TikTok video that has been viewed more that 6 million times. “I’m laughing and I’m crying because it’s hilarious. But also, that was probably the most shame I’ve ever felt.”

Familiar with the labor and delivery process after giving birth to her three children — ages 5, 4 and 3 — Victoria was running errands before the arrival of her newest little one, which included stopping at Costco to buy snacks for the nurses on staff.
She walked around the store for about an hour, “dilly dallying” and looking for the perfect gift combination of “healthy stuff” and “junk” for the staff.
“Then I heard a rumble in my tummy,” she says.
She tried to rush out of the store, but there were too many people in her way. Finally, Victoria abandoned her cart of groceries and dashed toward the bathroom.
“I see the restroom sign, but I knew that it had already happened,” she explains matter-of-factly.
Victoria commandeered the biggest stall, which happened to include a sink and a mirror … and when she saw the reflection in her cream-colored pants, she could confirm that, indeed, the worst had happened.
“Maybe it was the hormones and just being pregnant, but I did not handle that well. I was having a little panic attack,” she says.
Huddled in the stall, her first phone call was to her husband, who volunteered to drag the kids to the store with a new set of clothes, but she declined. Then she called her mom, who recommended shouting for help. Victoria summoned up her courage and did.
The woman who responded called for a manager, who brought Victoria the stretchiest Costco replacement pants they could find. After changing into them, Victoria went directly to the checkout line and then to her car, where she says she “immediately started breaking down.”
Why did she decide to post her embarrassing moment online?
“Oh, I post a lot of things that people typically don’t post,” she says. “When you’re pregnant, your body’s going through these changes that you’re scared to talk about, so I’ve shared everything about my pregnancy.”
Though Victoria was trying to help validate other women’s experiences, commenters helped validate her Costco moment by writing things like:
- “The baby pooped, not you.”
- “I just did this two days ago and I’m not pregnant 🤣🤣”
- “Hi, Costco employee here. 👋 This happens so often!”

After hearing her story, several people told Victoria that she was likely in pre-labor … which turned out to be true.
Victoria gave birth to her fourth baby the very next morning.
She says, “That was not my first time pooping in my pants, but it was the first time pooping them in public.”
