Wales Airshow 2026 timetable including after-dark show

One of the most-anticipated events in Swansea’s annual calendar is returning to the city’s waterfront this weekend. The Wales Airshow is expected to attract more 200,000 residents and visitors from across Wales and further afield, treating them to spectacular aerial displays alongside a host of ground-level attractions including market stalls, food and drink vendors, live music performances, and family-friendly entertainment.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, with visitors set to enjoy stunning sky displays over the sands of Swansea beach.
On Saturday the event kicks off at 10am but the first aerial display will begin at 1.45pm and those will run until 5.20pm on Saturday.
Following the main event on Saturdat organisers have announced an exciting new addition to the programme. Afterburn will showcase sunset air displays from 8pm until 9.50pm on Saturday.
Spectators will be treated to dramatic pyrotechnic performances from the Otto Helicopter, alongside thrilling aerial manoeuvres from the Firebirds, complete with fireworks. The evening will then culminate in a grand finale featuring a choreographed 200-drone display and fireworks.
The aerial displays will run from 12pm until 3.18pm on Sunday and this day will not feature evening entertainment.
