Sri Lanka vs Pakistan women’s squads, team news

Sri Lanka Cricket named a 15-member squad that largely retains the group which beat Bangladesh, with Athapaththu continuing as captain. Opening batter Vishmi Gunaratne and wicketkeeper Anushka Sanjeewani both return after missing that series.

Experienced left-arm spinner Sugandika Kumari and wicketkeeper Kaushani Nuthyangana were the notable omissions. Sri Lanka came into the series having finished third in Group B at the T20 World Cup, missing the semi-finals on run rate to the West Indies.
