12 New York agencies given August deadline to end ICE agreements

Twelve local New York law enforcement agencies must end their 287(g) agreements with ICE.
Gov. Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James made the announcement.
It’s the first action from the new Office of Immigrant Trust, which sent letters to 12 agencies.
