‘Who knew she could do that?’ Prince Harry’s daughter Lilibet does impressive flip in pool with brother Archie
It’s been a busy summer so far for Prince Harry, who came to the UK earlier this month for the Invictus Games. After the event, he was joined by his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their children for a family holiday. Meghan took to Instgram to share some of her favourite memories from the their summer together, including a shot of an impressive flip.
While having a splash in the pool with her brother Prince Archie, and dad Prince Harry, Princess Lilibet was snapped upside down, mid-air, just before she landed back in the water. Who knew she could do that? It’s an impressive feat and it looks like, by the way Prince Harry stands with his arms out, that he might have thrown Lilibet into the air to help her land the move. The family clearly enjoying splashing about together as, in another shot in the same post, Prince Harry leads both his children into the waves while Meghan watches from the sand.
Other photos show Meghan nose to nose with a dog while relaxing on a sun lounger and Prince Archie walking in nature as the sun begins to set. The post reveals that he even got a chance to play pilot for the day, with a shot of him sitting in the cockpit of a plane with a captain’s hat on his head.
There was one image in particular, however, that caught people’s eye, which showed Prince Harry and his children walking between a line of trees, and holding bouquets of flowers. The photo appears to have been taken in the grounds of Althorp, the stately home owned by the family of Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, for generations.

Not only was the location her childhood home, but it’s also her final resting place. Princess Diana is buried on an island in the centre of a lake in the grounds. It was a touching image to see the Prince bringing his children to a place so significant to their late grandmother, and presumably the flowers they brought were to leave in her memory.

While Meghan regularly shares photographs offering an insight into the personal family life she shares with Prince Harry and their children, the couple don’t usually post Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie’s faces publicly. While the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children – being closer in line to the throne – are regularly photographed and attend official events, Prince Harry and Meghan have chosen to keep their children’s identities out of the public sphere, at least for the time being.
