Congratulations are in order for RTÉ’s Maura Fay, who has welcomed a baby with her husband, Ciarán McKenna.
The host shared the happy news with a heartwarming picture of them leaving the hospital, writing: ‘The strongest arms carrying our greatest adventure home.’
She previously revealed that they were expecting a baby girl and was flooded with well wishes from some of her well-known co-stars.

That included Miriam O’Callaghan, who wrote: ‘How exciting, huge congratulations to you both.’
Elsewhere, Johnny Smacks, who used to work with Maura on the 2Johnnies podcast, wrote: ‘Congrats you two, let the fun begin.’

DJ Fergal D’Arcy also penned a sweet tribute to the new mum, writing: ‘Congrats Maura.
‘[I have] known ya 20 plus years and I can say with my hand on my heart you’re gonna be the world’s best mum.’
Maura announced her pregnancy in March with a cute clip of their first scan and a picture of an adorable baby grow.
She wrote: ‘Coming soon: tiny human, big chaos.’
