People rally in Rochester to protest two men killed by ICE in separate incidents

Rochester, N.Y. — A vigil was held Saturday evening for two men who were killed in separate incidents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Lorenzo Salgago Araujo and John Sebastian Guerrero of Maine were both shot and killed by federal immigration agents after allegedly not complying with orders.

“None of this is ok, and it seems to be happening on an almost daily basis now,” said Marcia Glenn, the lead for Indivisible Outreach.

The vigil was followed by a candlelight march to the Federal Building on State Street.
