Artists see good turnout at 2026 Outback Art Fair in Marquette

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – U.P. artists say they had a successful weekend at the 2026 Outback Art Fair in Marquette.

People could find sculptures, jewelry and pottery to personalize their lives. Marquette-based artist Madeline Goodman says the fair was busier than last year. She says she returned with her mom for a second year to share Madgoodies Studio jewelry. Her mother creates ceramics like garlic graters and ramen bowls.

Goodman says it’s important to have a place where people can find handmade art.

“The money is going back into the community, and for my mom and I work, it’s all local, handmade and aspects of nature,” she said. “So, it’s great to be in nature reflecting that back.”

Goodman says she enjoyed the Outback Art Fair community and its support.
