The repercussions from Tony Romo’s DUI arrest are just beginning.
The CBS broadcaster and former Cowboys quarterback has officially withdrawn from his next golf tournament, the M&P Group Texas State Open, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday.
According to KETK in Texas, Romo — who was booked for driving under the influence — won’t participate despite being a consistent presence in the tournament.

Romo, 46, was arrested in Milwaukee, his hometown, on the same day he had a brutal final round of the Wisconsin Amateur Championship golf tournament — where he finished 35-over par and won just $60 for his efforts.
In the final round, Romo shot 12-over par before being pulled over while riding south on Interstate 43 in Wisconsin, per an arrest detention report obtained by The Post.
Romo reportedly performed poorly on sobriety tests.
Romo’s court date is scheduled for Sept. 21.
It’s unclear if CBS plans to discipline Romo.
He is currently in the middle of a 10-year deal worth $180 million that he signed in 2020.

Romo, who initially joined CBS in April 2017, retired from football following the 2016 season.
The Eastern Illinois alum played for the Cowboys throughout his NFL career from 2004-16 and was a four-time Pro Bowler.
Romo, who went undrafted in 2004, became the team’s starting quarterback during the 2006 season and was through 2015.
In his career, he threw for 34,183 passing yards, 248 touchdowns and 117 interceptions, while completing 65.3 percent of his passes.
Romo helped lead Dallas to the playoffs four times, though the team never advanced beyond the divisional round.
