Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball | SEC Hoops Calendar Set

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Southeastern Conference unveiled the 18-game men’s basketball slate for the 2026-27 season on Monday. Vanderbilt will bookend the conference schedule with matchups against in-state rival Tennessee.

The SEC calendar features nine home and nine road games for each member institution with each school facing every conference opponent at least once. This season, Vanderbilt will play home-and-home matchups against perennial rivals Kentucky and Tennessee, while drawing Texas A&M as it’s rotating two-game foe.

The Commodores will also host Mississippi State, South Carolina, Auburn, Missouri, Arkansas and Texas in addition to the Wildcats, Volunteers and Aggies in Memorial Gymnasium this season.

Vanderbilt will travel to Florida, Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Oklahoma along with the three home-and-home foes.

The black and gold opens SEC play at rival Tennessee on Jan. 2, tipping off the conference gauntlet with a five-game stretch which also includes road trips to Florida (Jan. 9) and Kentucky (Jan. 16) as well. Vandy’s home opener will come in the midweek on either Jan. 5 or 6 against Mississippi State.

Saturday highlights in Memorial Gymnasium include visits from Missouri (Jan. 23), Texas A&M (Jan. 30), Arkansas (Feb. 6), Texas (Feb. 13), and the regular-season finale against Tennessee on Rivalry Saturday (March 6).

Midweek dates (Tuesday or Wednesday), tipoff times and TV designations will be announced by the SEC at a later date.
