Each patch prominently displays the iconic Copa Libertadores trophy on the left side, while the right side features the club’s traditional team colors and iconic design elements, such as classic stripes, sashes, or solid tones. A large stylized number in the background indicates the total count of titles won, alongside the specific years of each historic victory.
The new sleeve patches will make their official on-pitch debut during the Round of 16 knockout stage of the 2026 Copa Libertadores in August. Qualified past winners, including Brazilian sides such as Flamengo, Palmeiras, Fluminense, and Corinthians, as well as continental champions like Estudiantes and LDU Quito, will wear their bespoke patches throughout the remainder of the tournament.
