City will host Newcastle United in a pre-season game on Wednesday, July 29th (7.30pm) in the biggest selling pre-season game since the Ashton Gate redevelopment.
More than 20,000 fans are expected for the match against the Magpies – City’s first pre-season game against Premier League opposition for five years and the biggest crowd following the stadium rebuild a decade ago.

City will pay tribute to Newcastle United legend Kevin Keegan.
Keegan’s image will be displayed on the in-bowl screens in the seventh minute – a nod to the number he wore with such distinction during his playing career – and supporters are encouraged to take part in a minute’s applause.
The Robins were Keegan’s first opponents when he first took charge of Newcastle United in February 1992.
Keegan died at the age of 75 on Monday, July 20th.
