OPP charge Hamiltonian with impaired driving in multi-vehicle crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Hamiltonian with impaired driving following a three-vehicle crash.

On Tuesday at around 2 a.m., OPP responded to the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Highway 403 eastbound near the Wayne Gretzky Parkway off-ramp in Brantford.

Officers say no serious injuries were sustained by those involved.

Police charged 34-year-old Ines Klapic from Hamilton with operation while impaired (blood alcohol concentration over 80), operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs) and dangerous operation.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Brantford on Sept. 3.

OPP ask anyone who suspects impaired driving to call 911 immediately.
