BEAVERTON, Ore. (KATU) — Beaverton police released wild video from the victim of an apparent road rage incident over the weekend.
It happened around 7:25 a.m. Sunday in south Beaverton.
Investigators say the suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Arman K. Hastings, allegedly chased another driver after a road rage confrontation.
Both front and rearview video recorded by the victim’s vehicle captured the pursuit. Video showed Hastings driving into oncoming traffic, cutting off the victim’s vehicle and, at one point, driving in reverse while continuing to follow the couple.
Beaverton Police posted some of the video on their Instagram page. In the video, the victim’s frantic 911 call is also recorded.
During the call, the victim said he and his wife feared for their safety. The victim told dispatch that Hastings had reached toward his coat, making the victim believe he might be reaching for a gun.
Instead of stopping, the couple drove straight to the Beaverton Police Department. Officers quickly found Hastings and arrested him without incident.

Police say they found a black airsoft handgun in Hastings’ jacket pocket during the arrest.
Hastings was booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of reckless driving and menacing.
Beaverton police said they chose to release portions of the video to highlight the dangers of aggressive and reckless driving.
