On this week’s WWE SmackDown, we saw the return of the legend Haku. One of the most feared men in all of wrestling, inside and outside the ring, the master of the Tongan Death Grip is now back and better than ever, looking to lead a pack of wolves into battle for the foreseeable future.
Haku Leads His Sons on WWE SmackDown
Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga have been doing the bidding of Solo Sikoa as MFT, My Family Tree, for a better part of two years. When we thought the brothers would once again attach themselves to a faction, maybe potentially getting the band back together with Finn Balor, the one they built in New Japan Pro Wrestling, the two Tongans would annihilate Balor.
On this week’s SmackDown, Tama and Talla talked about family and how they need to put it first this time. In this video package, we saw a cane-wielding Haku sending a message and saying he’s the one to lead them from here on out.
The brothers’ father is one of the most respected and feared competitors in all of professional wrestling. The man is a myth and a legend. Haku has garnered success throughout his illustrious run, becoming WWE World Tag Team Champions with the great Andre the Giant, as well as amassing big success on his own as WCW Hardcore Champion and WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Champion.

Apart from that, Haku ruled over Japan, winning the SWS Tag Team Championship two times with Yoshiaki Yatsu, as well as being the winner of the 1981 edition of All Japan Pro Wrestling’s “2 January Korakuen Hall Heavyweight Battle Royal.”
Haku is absolutely the real deal, and good thing for Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga; their father has wisdom to spare and anger to impart to them.
