Crash on motorway causing long delays

A lorry crash on a busy motorway is causing long delays for motorists.
Traffic is being temporarily held on the M25 clockwise following a crash between Junction 1A for the A206 at Swanscombe and Junction 1B for the A282 at Dartford.

National Highways said all traffic had been stopped while the incident was being dealt with.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays as queues build on the approach to the scene.
It is understood three lorries were involved in the smash, but it is understood no one was injured.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys while emergency services and traffic officers respond to the incident.
A spokesman for Kent Police said officers was called at 9.06am to a report of a three-vehicle collision on the M25 clockwise between Junction 1A and Junction 1B.
The spokesman added: “No injuries were reported.”
