Finn Russell has been spotted in Cannes alongside boxing promoter Eddie Hearn and England star Henry Pollock after his wife revealed the couple had left Mykonos “earlier than expected.”

The Scotland fly-half recently married Emma Canning, now Russell, with the couple spending their honeymoon in Greece before making an earlier-than-planned move to the French Riviera.
On Thursday, Matchroom Talent Agency shared a photo of Russell, Hearn and Pollock together in Cannes with the simple caption: “Big meetings.”
The post immediately sparked intrigue among rugby fans, particularly as it came on the same day Hearn made headlines after backing Pollock to achieve something extraordinary in the game, saying the England back-row should target both Olympic gold with Team GB and a Rugby World Cup during his career.
There is no indication of what Matchroom’s “big meeting” referred to, and it may simply have been a social gathering while the trio were all in Cannes.
Later photos from the evening showed Russell enjoying a drink with friends as the relaxed Riviera atmosphere took over, suggesting the gathering quickly became a social occasion.
Russell and Emma are now continuing their honeymoon in Cannes before the Bath fly-half returns for the new season, while Pollock is preparing for another campaign after his breakthrough year with England.
