1 dead, 3 hospitalized after driver hits pedestrians on Broadway in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One pedestrian was killed and three others were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Broadway and Fourth Avenue in downtown Nashville.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. A large police presence remains in the area as the investigation continues.
According to Metro Nashville Police, an 87-year-old driver from Kentucky struck four pedestrians. One person died at the scene, while three others were taken to the hospital.
The Metro Nashville Police Department’s Traffic Division is actively investigating the crash. Police have not yet released the identities of those involved or said what led up to the collision.
