Making Great Yarmouth great again

The long-term ambitions of this party are ill-defined. After forming, its options were to field candidates in the borough council elections and limit its authority to leisure centres and waste collection, or for county council, which, barring the formation of Norwich First and King’s Lynn First offshoots, would mean existing in a perennial minority. Nevertheless, GYF chose the latter, and won each of the nine seats it stood in – all, predictably, within Great Yarmouth. Today is the party’s second committee meeting.
