We already know that Gwyneth Paltrow lives a very different life than the rest of us. There’s her Goop lifestyle brand, her cookbooks, and her New York Times profiles. And now, there is her brand new TikTok, which Paltrow introduced using three languages.
On Saturday, Paltrow debuted her latest social media account, writing in the caption, “Apparently, I’m on TikTok now.” The video includes several tiny clips of Paltrow in various luxurious locales — on a yacht, on the streets of Paris, in a helicopter, soaking in a tub — and in each one yelling at a person off-screen that she is just trying to finish filming this TikTok. In one of the clips, she is speaking in French. In another, she says it in Italian. It is unclear if each of these clips is genuine, if this is a bit Paltrow has committed to for months’ worth of traveling, or if this is all from just a single day in the life of Paltrow.
What I do know is that I have rarely been disappointed by a piece of Paltrow content, no matter how wildly unrelatable it may be.
