Trump Trashes Members of His Own Golf Club After Claiming Yet Another Championship: ‘It’s Called TALENT, And I Have it, And They Don’t!’

President Donald Trump trash-talked members of his Bedminster, NJ golf club after claiming he beat them in Saturday’s senior club championship.
In a post to Truth Social on Sunday, the president shared video of what he called “the winning shot” from Saturday’s tournament — a pitch shot from what appeared to be 40-50 yards out which checked up nicely with backspin about three feet away from the hole.

“The Winning Shot in the Bedminster Club Championship!” Trump boasted. “Thank you very much to all of those who participated. I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice, because I’m focused on many other things. It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!”
Trump actually seemed to have an off-day, compared to past performances in the event. Back in 2023, the president claimed he fired a 5-under-par 67 — three strokes better than the 2-under 70 he claimed on Saturday.
Nonetheless, Trump claimed two more championships in the senior and super senior net categories of the competition. That would seem to give Trump at least 40 club championships — as, last December, he claimed to have won at least 38.
“I’ve won 38 golf championships and I don’t get to practice very much,” Trump said. “I beat a 27-year-old kid. I’ve won 38 of them, every one of them legitimately. It has to be legitimate because you have a lot of people following you with club championships.”

Of course, Trump’s claims of his golf prowess have been met with enormous skepticism.
“He cheats like a mafia accountant,” Sportswriter Rick Reilly — who wrote a book about Trump’s golf game — told CNN back in 2019. “He cheats crazy. He cheats whether you’re watching or not. He cheats whether you like it or not.”
