IZARD COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) – The Izard County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert Sunday evening for a missing 79-year-old woman from Melbourne.
Sheriff Charley Melton said Judy Ruth Pennington was last seen at 2 p.m. Aug. 1 at 2574 Jumbo Road in Melbourne.
Melton said a phone ping showed she may be near Waxahachie, Texas, and may be traveling in a white Ford Fusion with Arkansas license plate 949UOZ.
Pennington is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 160 pounds. She has blue eyes.
Anyone with information on Pennington’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Izard County Sheriff’s Office at 870-368-4203.
