Royal family shares exciting news after Harry’s Invictus Games ‘invitation’

King Charles’ team has made a statement amid the discussions about a possible invitation to the Invictus Games.

On August 3, the official social media channels of the royal family released a video, showcasing a rare look from inside Buckingham Palace.

They shared good news with fans about the opening of new lifts at the Palace as its renovation works continue.

The statement reads, “These improvements to enhance public access will make Buckingham Palace fit for the generations to come.

“As well as replacing core building services, the Reservicing Programme has completed lots of improvements to accessibility since it began in 2017.”

This new post came after the Mirror claimed that the Duke of Sussex is hoping to see his father at the Invictus Games Birmingham edition, as he is extending an invite.

“Next year is a big deal for Harry. He is determined that the Birmingham Games will be the best ever, and it would mean the world to him to have his father there,” the source shared.

Revealing the monarch’s reaction towards any future interaction with his grandkids, an insider added that he “would welcome the opportunity to see his grandchildren again.”
