South Wales Fire and Rescue Service has issued an update on the wildfire in Rhondda.
Twenty fire engines are at the scene of the blaze on ground at Blaenllechau and Ferndale.
Fire crews have been fighting the fire since Saturday.
In an update on Monday afternoon the fire service warned residents that they may experience smoke over the coming days and to keep windows and doors closed if affected.
The fire service said there is currently no immediate threat to residents but people are being asked to avoid the area and follow updates and advice from emergency services.
Fire bosses thanked the local community but said there was no need to attend bringing them food.
“While we greatly appreciate the kindness shown to our crews, there is no need to bring refreshments or donations to the scene, we would prefer it if you avoided the scene and stayed safe,” the fire service said.
