It appears that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns could be on his way to making an appearance for the AAA brand in Mexico.
The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Raw saw Reigns’ ally in the Bloodline, Jacob Fatu, defeat Royce Keys in a street fight.
After the match, Fatu continued attacking Keys, at which point Reigns came out onto the stage to approve of Fatu’s actions.
When Reigns headed back through the curtain to the backstage area, he was greeted by WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
Mysterio, who is also the General Manager of AAA, said to Reigns, “You know I’m the AAA General Manager right? Let me run something by you.”
At that point, they walked off together and the show went off the air.
While there are no further specifics known as of this writing, it certainly seems that Reigns will be doing something with AAA in the near future.

Potential Roman Reigns AAA Plans
As far as upcoming WWE AAA events, there is of course TripleMania 34 which takes place on September 11 and 13, with night one in Las Vegas and night two in Mexico City – and also Worlds Collide in Chicago on September 26.
The TripleMania night two main event in Mexico is pretty much nailed on to be Dominik Mysterio defending the AAA Mega Title against El Grande Americano.
Roman Reigns’ involvement, if it is for TripleMania at all, would be a lot more likely to take place on the Vegas night, which has actually been moved to a bigger venue this past week, now set to take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena instead of its original location which was Luxor Theather.
If WWE does plan to feature Reigns on that show, moving to a bigger arena makes a lot of sense.
As noted, there’s also the Worlds Collide show on September 26 on the same day and in the same city as AEW All Out, which is advertised to feature the WWE main roster, NXT and AAA, so Reigns’ involvement could be on that show if WWE really wants to load it up given the AEW factor.
Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk teased appearing in AAA recently as well, and he would also make sense for an appearance at Worlds Collide with Chicago being his hometown.
In the absence of a main roster premium live event between SummerSlam on August 1 & 2 and Money in the Bank on October 10, WWE could just go all guns blazing with Worlds Collide this time around.
With the exception of the aforementioned Dominik Mysterio who’s tied up on night two, there isn’t really anyone on the AAA roster who has any kind of history with Reigns, so if he ends up having a match, it could be with just about anybody at this point – though Penta is probably the biggest potential opponent as far as star power.
