Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Leaks And Release Date

What’s coming with Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4? So far, leaks for the next season are pointing towards a theme that a lot of players have been requesting. but it’s also a season with a lot of unknowns. The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 leaks look like an interesting release though.
This year has been one of sudden turns from Epic. Compared to past Fortnite seasons, we don’t have as firm of an idea where we’re heading. It’s all coming on August 19th. That’s the C7 S3 release date.
Right now, there’s still a few weeks left on the current Fortnite season. But we have already started to get quite a few Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks. It’s looking like this will be a big Gaming Legends series season. With massive collabs dominating gameplay.
This is what we know about Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 and its leaks so far:

The biggest part of the new Fortnite season is apparently going to be the Gaming Legends series theme. This has been a part of the game since Chapter 2. It’s the term for one Fortnite brings in characters from other video games. Like Lara Croft, or Master Chief.
The Fortnite Gaming Legends series might be getting a dedicated season. like the past collab seasons, but this time focused on a type of collab. Not a specific franchise like Simpsons or Star Wars.
According to leakers, the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks for the battle Pass will have some collab skins in the pass. Like Sonic the Hedgehog, long rumoured and apparently finally coming to the game. After getting a smaller collab earlier that turned out to just be car wheels for some reason.
Th Gaming Legends collab will likely be skins in the Battle Pass and item shop, maybe with POIs and weapons to match. there isn’t a clear mechanic that springs to mind which could change gameplay. However, there should be a lot of collabs.

If you’re a Fortnite fan who doesn’t see the appeal of endless crossovers instead of anything for gameplay…. then a full Gaming Legends season might not be too exciting. but there are a lot of much-requested collabs getting talked about.
The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks are pointing towards Sonic finally arriving, but also Mega Man, Kingdom Hearts, plus Persona.
Mega Man would be fun. Kingdom Hearts has been rumoured for a little while now. Given Epic’s strong ties to Disney the rights for that might not have been as difficult. Persona collabs with everything too, but players have wanted it in Fortnite for a while now.
Hello Neighbour has had some teases online too. There’s nothing really to say this is coming soon. But it fits the gaming theme (if not Legends, that game is more of a chore than anything else) and its actively talking about a Fortnite collab on Twitter at the moment.
Plans Could Change
These are the changes that have been talked about in the Fortnite leaks so far, but there’s reason to think this isn’t 100% confirmed. Major leakers have commented that most of these leaks are coming from the leaker Adira. Who was the subject of a lawsuit and a whole public mess.
Typically, an entire season like this won’t change. And the main leakers seem pretty confident in the Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks too.
Essentially, the leaks are based on what was planned when that leaker was still with Epic. It has been liable to change since then though. This year especially, Epic has been making changes later. Off the back of the player count seemingly crossing a worrying line for its decline. But things have bounced back in Chapter 7 Season 3. Which could mean the original plans for a gaming legends season have changed.
One major factor that’s still unknown is if the Sprites are sticking around or not.
Are Sprites Staying?

Maybe the biggest hit for a new seasonal mechanic recently has been the Sprites. players have spent a long time chasing out the rarest Fortnite sprites and trying to track down all the different versions. With the player count spiking at times like the Power Hours over weekends. Epic might want to keep this going.
The Fortnite sprites are currently scheduled to leave when the season ends. Although, Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks since the last update are now saying they might be staying in some form We’ll probably see a similar mechanic sticking around too. Not sprites specifically, or at least not these sprites. But it does feel like the game will be keeping the collection and extraction features for a while longer.
It would be silly to throw away the entire concept of a mechanic that’s gotten players engaged and logging in regularly. Although, it runs the risk of it being less important to grind things out since it happens every season. Eventually, the collections won’t feel as important if it’s an every season kind of thing.
We could see some kind of collection mechanic sticking around though. Maybe even one that ties into the Fortnite Gaming Legends season theme that’s in the Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks.
