Amy Childs’ £1.7million Essex mansion has reportedly been ransacked by robbers while she was on holiday.
The TOWIE star was away from the property as she had been abroad on a family getaway. But when she returned with her family, they are said to have found it ransacked and “totally wrecked” by the thieves.
Amy, 36, is said to be “absolutely heartbroken” by the break-in and still “shaken” up by it. A representative for Amy has confirmed the burglary, telling The Sun: “No one was hurt which is the main thing. The police are all over it.”
It’s said thieves broke into the £1.7million Essex property and left it “totally wrecked”
A source told the outlet: “Amy and her family returned from holiday to find that thieves had broken into her home and completely trashed the place. She’s absolutely heartbroken.
“She is just grateful that she and the kids were away when it happened, because it would have been terrifying if they had been there when the burglars came. She can’t even bear to think about that but it’s still left her shaken.
Amy is reportedly unsure what exactly has been taken
The source added that the reality star isn’t sure exactly what’s been taken as the place is “totally wrecked” and that police are at the property with forensics.
Before the “total nightmare” took place, Amy had been living it up on the family holiday. Just days before, she shared loved up snaps of her kissing her First Dates star husband Billy Delbosq. They share their twins Milly and Billy.

Amy wrote: “Having the most Beautiful time with the Family… making memories that will last forever. Polly and Milly are totally inseparable, seeing this makes me so I wished I had a sister growing up got Wills instead (only joking) the bond is unbreakable.”
Amy moved into her five-bedroom mansion in May 2024 and posts regular updates for her followers on social media. The house includes a cinema room, a wine cellar and a sprawling garden.
Amy appeared in the first two series of TOWIE before landing her own spin-off show It’s All About Amy. She went on Celebrity Big Brother in 2011 and returned to TOWIE in 2020.
